As mentioned in a previous post, I have fallen into literature-review shaped hole. (I have read ALL of the things! Synthesising them is interesting and challenging and has turned my brain inside out — but a draft is on the horizon).
To get back into the hang of blogging, I present a photo from my recent archive trip up to the Otterburn Training Area. I can’t thank the Estate Manager Chris enough for his welcome – he rearranged his schedule to be at the OTA for two consecutive days, so I could dig through the archives and see what I could see.
In amongst the very helpful (indeed, essential) things I found – land purchase record maps!! – I found some great snippets of the past, which I’ll share here on occasion. They probably won’t make their way into the thesis, but they’re too good to leave behind.
